About The Skin Audit

The Skin Audit reads CS2 marketplace pricing the way an accountant reads an invoice: line by line, dated, and with the assumption that anything unclear is unclear on purpose. We publish what each marketplace says it charges, when we read it, and what one identical sale pays out across the field.

Independence

Some outbound links are affiliate links and are disclosed as such; commissions never move a number, because our numbers are the marketplaces' own published rates. We may cover case-opening and gambling sites, but we never link to scams. We are not affiliated with Valve Corporation; Counter-Strike is their property and this is an independent publication about its economy.

Method

Rates are read from marketplace pricing pages and cross-checked against current independent surveys; each table prints its read-date. Anything we could not pin to a source is labelled unverified. When a marketplace changes terms, the audit gets re-read and the date moves — if a date looks stale, the number deserves your suspicion and we deserve your email.
