CS2 marketplaces, checked like invoices

What does cashing out actually cost?

Every CS2 marketplace publishes a fee. Almost nobody reads it, and the sites that rank marketplaces rarely show where a number came from or when. We check the rates like invoices — dated, sourced, and priced on one identical sale — so you keep more of what your inventory is worth.

Why this site exists

Selling the same $100 skin can pay you $98 or $85 depending purely on which marketplace you clicked first. The fee tables that explain this exist, but they are scattered across FAQs and terms pages, and the comparison sites that aggregate them almost never date or source their numbers. We do only that: read the published rates, date the reading, and put one identical sale through every market so the difference shows up in dollars.

We are not a marketplace, and we hold no inventory of yours. We may cover case-opening and gambling sites, but we never link to scams.

Itemized questions

Which CS2 marketplace has the lowest selling fees?
By published rates read in September 2026, CSFloat's 2% seller fee is the lowest of the major markets, against 8% at Skinport (6% above €1,000) and ~2% standard at DMarket, up to ~10% on low-liquidity items. The full audit prices one identical sale across every market so the difference is in dollars.
Is it safe to sell CS2 skins for real money?
On the established marketplaces, yes, within limits: use the majors, never trade outside the platform, and treat anyone contacting you first as a scammer until proven otherwise. Our cash-out guide covers the standard scam patterns before they cost you an inventory.
Why not just use the Steam Community Market?
Because Steam pays you in wallet funds you can never withdraw — fine for buying more skins, useless for rent. Third-party marketplaces exist precisely because they pay in money; the audit compares what each one actually delivers to your bank.
What is Trade Protection and why does it matter?
Valve's Trade Protection (July 2025) makes trades reversible for 7 days and puts a 30-day cooldown on any reversal, so P2P markets typically pay sellers about 8 days after delivery. Markets handle that clock differently — we record each one's timing next to its fees.
Do you review case-opening or gambling sites?
We may cover them, but we never link to scams. Our audits rank marketplaces where you buy and sell skins.
