Privacy Policy
This site collects as little as a website can while still knowing which audits get read. Pages are static files; there are no accounts, no advertising tags, and no sale of data. The one measurement tool is Google Analytics 4, set out below. If you email us, we see what you sent and use it to answer you.
Outbound marketplace links leave this site and are governed by their destinations' policies. Affiliate links may set attribution on the destination side so the marketplace knows the visit came from us; that mechanism lives with them, not here.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4
To see which audits people actually read, the site runs Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Ltd. It records the pages viewed, the site that referred you, an approximate location at city or country level, your device and browser type, and how long a session lasts. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have switched off advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation, so this data is never used for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Once analytics is allowed, GA4 sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID>, which can last up to two years. Until then, neither cookie is set.
Readers in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see a banner first, and nothing reaches Google unless they click Accept. Everywhere else analytics is on by default and can be switched off at any time. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out. Whichever you choose is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key analytics-consent, not in a cookie.
You can change your analytics choice whenever you like; the banner reopens. Google explains its own handling of the data in its privacy policy, and it offers a browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics.
